Last week I have been working for one of my favourite clients M&S . It's already ve been 2 years since I came to casting at Springs studios and met lovely team - fashion shows, website shootings and campaigns - kept me so busy! 

This time I shot outfits for Olympic 2012 designed by Stella McCartney! So exiting !!!!!  Trying them on reminded my University years being in Sport Aerobics team - Crazy training before competitions, achieving results and breathtaking feeling of team spirit beating our enemies to  receive desired Cup !

Potions-lotions a Paris!

4 days in Paris. So many things had to be done. Meeting my best friend for quick breaky and we off for potions-lotions shopping. In France it is so easy just go to nearest pharmacy and you ll find everything you have to hunt in London. But we spoil we need the biggest one and and we don't mind to take a metro.
First I attack shelfs with Vichy and Phyto product. I put in my shopping bag Phyto hair supplement, Vichy Decore shampoo followed by Vichy Hair serum when I spot new product Vichy Idealia for me to try.
I switch to Embriolisse and Lierac department: shower gel and body cream added.
I couldn't pass by B Com Bio it's a new organic brand I found that very popular in France. So I decide to try it! Argan oil, eye cream and day cream. I can't stop)

Ow yes we know how damaging modeling for hair.   All these hair dryers, mousses, sprays, tongs and irons making you forget that some time ago you had a healthy hair and if you add to it everyday pulling, backcombing and frying you just want to cry SOS! This is a price we models pay. 

It took me ages to find the right products that help prevent damaging and restore my quite fine hair. Here tips I want to share:

 Its almost impossible to take your hair back to health condition when its already damaged that’s why its very important to take care of the roots - root nourishing prevent from damaging.

ROOTS: I like VICHY DERCOS and PhytoLium 4 by PHYTO

Personal - I never use any product for long time – I always have minimum 2-3 products I am happy with so I can switch one to another after a course (product work much better this way). 

ALL LENGTH CARE: Shampoo Vichy Dercos, Kerastase Resistanse, PHYTO thinning hair; Conditioner Kerastase Nutritive, KeraCare by Avlon, Philip Kingsley

Personal - I pay attention what effect gives me combination of certain shampoo and conditioner. Sometimes for castings I prefer to have more body rather silky weightless hair. So when I use Vichy Dercos/ Kerastase Resistance followed by KeraCare by Avlon I get more volume and weight and shine on top!

ENDS: Argan Oil, Redken Extreme CAT

Most important and damaged!!!! I tried so many products but nothing helped but one… ARGAN OIL!

You can by it in any pharmacy or PAC shops (even cheaper) but make sure its 100% argan oil.

Personal – after modeling job is finished wash hair just 10-15 cm to your ends, apply argan oil generously and put it in a band. 20 mins  (or more) later do a good wash. Sometimes I even leave it for a night.  You will see the difference after first use. 

 Every time after shampoo and condition I use Redken Extreme CAT product on my ends to leave in.  It’s protein-restructuring treatment for distressed hair help to restore and protect from damage.

Also it is always good to take some food supplements to help your hair from inside. 

Personal - I loved Nourkrin Extra Strength that I have been recommended by an amazing hairstylist, make-up artist and a very good friend of mine Celia Guiney. It helps your skin and nails as well as hair.

Ahhh Agent Provocateur ...

 Two weeks before Xmass is one of the busiest time of year! My agency chart is full of red weekdays squares screaming I booked every single day, including weekends. And it makes me so happy... I love to work!

 Its have been very fruitful week. Lots of work – lots of fun - lots of news)

  Week started with Agent Provocateur spring-summer ‘12 collection. Two days of sexy looks and beautiful garments.

 First time I met AP team in 2010 to model for their spring-summer campaign look book and felt in love with amazingly dashing brand and heart welcome creative team! It's been a lot of AP fashion shows, franchising presentations, website shootings since then. 

Every time I come to their office on Clerkenwell rd I find myself in desperate anticipation of being first to try on a new garment of latest collection that haven't been out to pubic eye yet. 

 AP Spring –Sumer 2012 -  First day started with amazing colour combination lingerie sets that take your breath away –  bright yellow/ Milk thistle purple , and deep Jungle green/orchid purple lace set, followed by beautiful bridal version of  AP’s “Love” and magical Corset that can easily make 3-4 inches of your waist disappear. Second day we dedicated to a dashing swimwear collection. 

I WANT IT NOW GARMENT! I was stunned by Black bikini with golden rings and amazing beach dress that give your figure amazing shape.

 Now I truly miss lovely AP girls and can not wait to come back to beautiful black-pink office for next season collection. It is hard to decide what next garment of '12 will end up in my wardrobe - my wish - I would have them all. 

INTRO

Being born in USSR – remember me and my family surviving Perestroyka. Knowledge  - is strength, knowledge is power – they used to teach me. And in my family there was no such a profession as Dancer or Actor or Model.  Even thought I danced and acted all my life – with only mirror reflection of  myself as a spectator. “Sweetheart the future is in Business” – my father used to say – and he was right. Yes – every single profession cant go well without business side of it. And it takes time to come to it.  I did take my father's advice. I dedicated 5 years of my life for studying - plunged myself into university running machine of learning hard way. And after I secured myself with University Degree and with pride received Diploma with Honor in Tourism Business and Hospitality industry I ve started what I always dreamed to do – Modelling. It has been 6 years now.
